About Leslie:
Leslie grew up in Idaho and is a western girl through and through. Western principles include tenacity, self-reliance and creativity. Leslie supported herself in the workforce before she ever received a college education. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Idaho State University, graduating in the top 5 percent of her class (high honors).
Leslie attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. where she earned a Juris Doctor (law degree). At Georgetown, Leslie was a Senior Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Poverty Law and Policy and a Fellow with the National Association of Public Interest Lawyers (NAPIL, now Equal Justice Works). Leslie was a Faculty Advisor for the National Youth Leadership Forum, which introduced high school students to the legal profession in the nation's capital. Leslie was also an Intern for the World Organization Against Torture, which seeks to enforce international treaties through client-centered legal representation.
Leslie's professional focus is on Constitutional and Criminal Law, as well as Evidence and Trial Advocacy. Leslie has never been a persecutor for the government and never will be a prosecutor. By defending individuals who have been charged with a crime, Leslie protects the rights of every citizen.
